Located in Idaho Springs, Colorado, Salisbury Gladstone LLC (Gladstone) is a Colorado milling company that operates the Gladstone Toll Mill (GTM). GTM is the first toll mill permitted in Colorado since the Environmental Protection Agency’s 2002 Record of Decision that focuses on remediation of abandoned mine Superfund sites in Colorado. GTM processes legacy mine waste or mill feedstock located on permitted and historic mines throughout the Western United States. We are your milling solution.
There are over 18,000 registered mines in Colorado that until Gladstone had no ability to process their old toxic workings. Much of the workings (feedstock or ore) sitting on the ground is potentially hazardous with lead and arsenic leaching into the ground and waterways. These piles are unsightly and scattered throughout the beautiful state of Colorado.
Our team of engineers and mining experts are united in our cause of ensuring the most environmentally friendly technology-based reclamation solutions possible. We have pioneered a zero-waste milling process ushering in a new era of environmental preservation, committed to delivering state of the art remediation and reclamation services. Our vision of being the preferred eco-friendly milling provider is demonstrated by our commitment to sustainable land reclamation, reversing and restoring existing hazards through this closed loop system. What is and has been polluting mine spoils left behind, is now viable feedstock for GTM. No chemicals, nothing touching the ground, we’ve eliminated the need for settling ponds and tailing dams.
